"Bounty Trouble" Quest

I've started that quest and I've never been this confused before. I looked up guides, but the quest is different for me than it's supposed to be? Something about getting taken to the ghost market, some guy telling you to take you back (to where the quest started) and later a "march of the dead". I also keep seeing signposts pointing out where some special spear is supposed to be, and I have no idea what they mean.

For me there is no option to go back, and the objective says "defeat the unbound cavern members", but no info whatsoever where they even are. How do I finish this?
