Why do so many people seem to think that Nova was going to bodyslam Popstar at the end of Milky Way Wishes?

Like, it’s pretty clear what happens in-game. Marx wishes “I want to rule popstar” Nova goes >ok. We then see Nova going across the level select screen to Popstar. Kirby, the sun, and the moon then stop Nova before it can reach Popstar and conquer it for Marx. Where does the whole body slamming thing come in?!a literal interpretation of the overworld sprites? Where Kirby is comparable in size to whole planets? Is it just agenda?
