I've been thinking about this recently, and I'm genuinely sure Nice could have completed two of the three missions given by Shang shown in the anime.

First, in the Ruins incident, Nice only didn't kill Nuo Nuo and Professor Luo because Loli arrived. It wasn't shown that the CEOs knew about Loli's armor or that she had brought it, so there was no way they could prepare for her, making it an unexpected last-minute surprise that wasted a lot of time. If Loli hadn't been there, Nice and the Phobia clone would have killed the entire research team.

Also on the same day, Nice only didn't kill Loli there because Queen arrived; there was no reason for her not to be there, and in the same way, they would have killed the entire research team. Even Nice alone, if Loli hadn't been there, he could have killed all the members.

The second mission he would have completed was the Residents' Association contracts. They were all elderly or busy, and Phobiaclone had already picked up the contracts; all he had to do was wait for Nice to pick them up. Xin Ya arriving and managing to retrieve the contracts when they were off guard (with good reason, the mission was 99% complete), plus X appearing there because it was the route he takes to get home from work, couldn't have been predicted. Like, what 16-year-old girl has the guts to do what she did? And nobody knew X's whereabouts at the time.

Added to the trauma of Smile's death and the fear, and the girl having called the association in advance, Nice wouldn't have been able to complete the job. Literally, if you remove all these uncontrollable external factors, Nice would have executed his missions perfectly.

The only mission he wouldn't have been able to complete was killing Smile, because he was his childhood hero.

I don't like Nice, but I think it's unfair to call him a fraud for not completing his missions, since he couldn't control any of the factors that caused him to fail. Do you guys genuinely think Nice could have completed his missions if it weren't for these external reasons? I might be delirious here, but I'll give him this little break.

I love the fact that everyone calls Nice Bum because he couldn't complete his missions, but he lost most of them for external reasons.
