Question (feedback appreciated 🤩)

Ok, so heres a small rant, and if i’m wrong for this lmk, sometimes I get annoyed at things that aren’t actually annoying.

So the other day, someone put in the chat: ‘i need some peaches, does anyone have some?’ to which I replied ‘yh i do, how many do u need?’

They then asked how many I had, (for some reason I had hundreds) and they said they only rlly wanted 50.

So we met at larry, and they asked what I wanted in return, and I told them ‘its all good u can jst have the 50 for free’ (tbh I didn’t need the peaches, plus I plant trees/open chests all the time anyway).

They were a bit like: ‘r u sure’ but I insisted and they were rlly grateful which was acc kind of sweet :)

after this, i got ppl in the chat like, ‘can i have some too’ and I gave the same, ‘how many?’ — these ppl were then asking for significantly more… and when i put them in trade, they jst accepted, (as in, they didn’t even bother TRYING to give anything in return), all I got was a ‘ty’ and they left

I still have lots of peaches, so I’m not bothered about that aspect, but I was wondering if was justified for me to have found that weird? From my pov, I did one nice thing, and then suddenly more people pop up and start asking me to give away EVEN MORE for free aswell. (Kinda felt like my ‘kindness’ (if i’m rlly to call it that) was being taken advantage of, to just EXPECT me to give things for free is a lil greedy* (for lack of a better word, im kinda tired rn))
