2,676 Days ago, I finished the original 'Awake and Angry' achievement. Today, I finished its successor achievement, 'Its all coming together', and then fully annexed and liberated China.

The Chinese People's State in 1958 after Taiwan was successfully recaptured, thus putting every Chinese core state under my total control.

August 10th, 2018, where after finally defeating the Allies and subjugating the CCP, I got the 'Awake and Angry' achievement before the requirements were changed.

The original 'Awake and Angry' achievement, added with the Waking the Tiger DLC in 2018, initially required the conquest of the treaty ports in the south of China, as well as the Japanese-controlled areas. I finished that achievement before the requirements were changed, and today, I finally finished an ungodly long campaign where I successfully freed all of China by 1958.
