M 24, looking for a woman my age

Hi, I'm 24 and looking for a woman my age, that is also interested in a FLR or something similar. How can I approach this the best way.

Are there signs, that I can look out for, when I'm getting to know a woman?
I am aware, that it is probably best to try online dating, but I would rather get to know somebody IRL.
Or maybe can I send signals to show my interest to those, who understand?
