Should I hardtail my strat build?

I'm gonna mod my first guitar (black squier strat) with P90s, and new gold parts. I don't know If I should hardtail it or buy a new trem bridge.

I never use my whammy bar. I'm getting into grunge-gaze, so I think it might be nice to have it anyway. I'm doing this on a budget and as a first timer, so I don't know if a trem is the move.

What I think I'll do is hardtail it, and later down the line I can buy a trem bridge if I want to. What are your guys' thoughts.
