is extra scar tissue making stretching harder or am i just not ready and delusional about it?
i’ve been stretching my first lobes for a little over a year now. my left ear ripped a little shortly after i got it pierced and now that im stretching them i feel like that one always gives more resistance. for example, today i stretched from 6g to 5g. the right one went right in with no resistance, but the left did have some resistance; however, it wasn’t really sore and after a few hours it felt exactly the same as my right one. unfortunately i have stretched too fast in the past and i know that when it wasn’t ready to size up it was sore and took noticeably longer than a few hours to fit comfortably. is it possible that the little bit of resistance is due to, like, excess scar tissue or something? or am i just telling myself that to feel better about stretching too soon lol i will admit that in the past i have been a bit hasty with moving up sizes, but i’ve avoided not taking my time lately. i know it’s probably not good to have sized up this much in a little over a year and i should have taken my time, so no need to scold me about it. im aware of my mistakes.
