lower jaw surgery

I had lower jaw surgery about a year ago, my lower jaw was pushed back 3mm and was slightly pushed to the side as it was longer on one side than the other.

I am happy with the result but I feel like I should have pushed for my top jaw to be moved forward also. After doing a lot of research now I know the importance of airway restrictions which I do feel like has worsen since the surgery. I also think having top jaw surgery would have helped my overall bite as right now my teeth are pretty much sitting on each other and there isn’t much of an overbite.

I also feel like it’s changed my face for the worst? Ive been reading and I know having a small setback wouldn’t change any other hones like the maxilla etc but I feel like it has.

I want my smile to be wider as I feel like having braces for a year has made my smile narrower but I don’t think my orthodontics will do anybring?
