Baby Hyperventilating

Hey everyone!

Just to start, we have called our pediatrician about this concern and unfortunately without any video or witnessing it in person they can’t really tell us much.

Our little one gets very upset like babies do and starts to hyperventilate. My wife and I are both aware the rapid breathing is not a concern when they get real worked up. However, if he gets REAL worked up, he develops this short rapid breathing, almost like a tick, and it lasted all through his nap once we got him to sleep this last time. Really hoping someone has some experience with this to see whether we need to escalate this to our pediatrician without a video. There are so many scary articles about infantile spasms and we want to be as careful as possible.
