struggling to make friends

Hey guys, just complaining and seeing if anyones in the same boat as me .. Just started college (19F) and have had the most public humiliation ritual-esq time trying to make friends, and this evening invited a girl out with me for drinks and she cancelled as I was about to leave the door 😓 had a sad and quiet little moment to myself but also desperately trying to convince myself I'm not the only one here .. anyone wanna be friends / let me know when it gets better xoxo
