day 7: what is it about drinking at an airport restaurant bar that is so appealing to me?!

i was en route to the airport earlier thinking about how early i was going to be for my flight and how sad it was that i wouldn’t be able to hang out at a bar while i wait. there’s just something about being in a random airport, with absolute strangers that you’ll never see again, where time doesn’t exist and it’s completely normal to have a drink alone at noon.
