I’m a Web3 founder and ministry leader writing about “Faith & Cryptocurrency.” AMA about church stewardship, transparency, and cryptocurrency.
Hi folks, I’m Jomari.
I’ve spent the last few years building Web3 projects (DeFi, DAOs, NFTs) and serving in ministry and faith-based community work. I’m currently working on a book called Faith & Cryptocurrency: Web3 Tools for Modern Faith Communities and wanted to open myself up for questions and conversation.
I’m especially interested in the overlap between:
- Acts 2 inspired community economics (sharing, mutual support, transparency)
- Modern crypto / Web3 tools (wallets, DAOs, smart contracts, on-chain giving)
- Real-world church / nonprofit challenges (trust, accountability, financial stress, outreach)
I’m not here to shill coins or hype up “number go up.” If anything, I’m pretty skeptical of speculation. My focus is:
- how tech can help communities be more transparent and trustworthy,
- how churches / faith communities can avoid scams and hype, and
- where tools like smart contracts, on-chain records, and community governance might actually serve people.
AMA about things like:
- “Should churches ever accept crypto donations?”
- “How could blockchain help with benevolence funds or financial transparency?”
- “Is all this just digital gambling dressed up in church language?”
- “What does an ‘Acts 2 economy’ look like with modern tools?”
I did write a book on this, but no obligation at all to check it out. I am happy to just answer questions, hear critiques, and listen to concerns.
I’ll drop a link to the book preview in the comments rather than in the main post to keep this from feeling like an ad.
