I hate the housing system

I know, it’s been said to death, but I’m ready for my own obligatory crash out.

It’s just so frustrating and confusing. I shouldn’t have to maneuver and flip to get the furniture and house placement just right, and it never is. I wish I could precisely place things on the wall without it being eaten or barely showing.

That new house we got, trash. They “give” it to us, but not really. We still have to buy the diys for the items in order for it to even be used. Those stupid freaking flowers are getting on my nerves because I shouldn’t have to ungroup the entire thing and delete them all INDIVIDUALLY!

And not just that, it’s still so buggy and broke on ps5 here and there. I wanted to like it, I only ever use it every so often for meteorites because for some reason, I can’t put a greeting on my home island. It’s so useless and I absolutely hate it!

The whole island should’ve been flat, certain terrains should’ve been static, I shouldn’t have to “fix” something that was “given” to me.

I’m just so frustrated and defeated because I just spent the last 30 minutes clearing a spot so I can try to find joy in this aspect of the game. A game that I really love mind you. I’ve been playing since 1.0, been sticking around through all the issues, all the “drama”. Why? I love the game, and I want to keep loving it.

It’s awesome they added an undo button, but there’s so many other issues with the housing that need to be improved, like a freaking GRID!
