SA Question and Buying New Bag Question

Hello!

I am going to NYC this week and I am looking to purchase my second Chanel bag. I have purchased before from the NY store off of 57th in May of 2023. After my that purchase, I never heard from the SA again. Is this normal for Chanel? This time I am hoping to have a SA that I can stay in contact with, as I do not have a Chanel boutique close to me. My question is, can I ask them for their contact information? Or ask if I can contact them if I am interested in purchasing something else in the future? Since I have purchased from a boutique before they can ship bags, correct?

I am thinking of going with a black bag and would like gold hardware. I don’t have a specific bag type in mind, but usually tend to lean into liking flap bags more. Is this color/hardware combo hard to come by?
