There needs to be some sort of way to fight back against rats.
I'm not talking about PvP in Stella Montis, I'm talking about random people hiding in corners or sitting on rooftops ferro'ing anything that gets close.
'But that's the game it's PvP'-in a game where TTK is so low, this simply doesn't work and isn't enjoyable. If someone gets the drop on you, no amount of skill, weapon strength, or luck will stop you being instantly melted. It might be fun for those killing everyone, but the majority of people who just want to actually play the game will (likely are) just get bored and move onto something else.
I DON'T want the PvP aspect to disappear. The danger is definitely a fun part of the game to an extent, but I'm fucking tired of losing an entire 25 minute run to a free loadout hiding.
Some basic suggestions to help this and make it more enjoyable to just loot and have fun;
-a reputation based matchmaking system. Shooting first on raiders= poor reputation. Put bad reps together, keep good reps in lobbies seperate. This could even amount to ARC targeting poor rep players, or having an exclamation ❗ mark above bad rep players/active raider killing players.
-Higher TTK against raiders.
-A device that alerts you of nearby raiders so you have some idea where people might be.
-Gunshots alerting ARC much more, make it more dangerous to kill raiders.
