Some contexts I want to go through:  
I got my frog yesterday (11/6/2025). I got him in a long trip visiting pet stores in a big city. Unfortunately, I got him at the first store I went to. This trip was about 7 hours too. It was pretty cold outside, so it was probably not the recommended temperature in the car (but it wasn't cold in the car either). The little container he was sold in only had a damp wet paper towel in it. So, the point of what I am saying is that the frog was probably stressed out. 

When I got home, I properad a 10-gallon aquarium for him. I used Reptisoil for the padding and used a bigger dish like the one in the photo. When I put him in, he went into the water right away.

What I believe the problem is: I think my frog got TOS from the water. When I woke up, he looked awful, his legs were stretched out all the way, and he seemed to be stiff. After looking up why he was not doing so good, I got started right away to get him better. I took him out and laid him on padding. I dumped out the water and replaced it with RO water. I took him out of his aquarium and put him in a portable carrier. I put a dish in with RO water and went to PetSmart to get Reptisafe and some crickets (to see if he'll eat and to feed my Pixie frog). I have swapped the water twice out which is recommended to do for every 2-3 hours. He seems to be doing better now. He has been kicking his legs. And seen in the photo, his legs don't look to be stiff anymore.  
  
The Reptisoil I have in the aquarium is still damp with the "bad water", what should I do with it? Should I throw it away or just wait for it to dry up?
