Fnaf 2 movie questions and concerns

So I just got out of the five nights at Freddy’s two movie so obviously spoilers ahead, and I am left with a whole host of questions and mild concerns about retconning and stuff like that. I’m going to write all of them down. I’d appreciate any answers and or clarifications that anyone can give me. Much appreciated.

1. Why did Afton single out Mike’s family with garret as the one kid he took outside of Freddy’s? And why did it stand out to him so much that he remembers mikes family name years later? Because originally, we all assumed that Mike Schmidt and his family were the in movie version of Henry Emily and his family, so it would make sense for Afton to target them. But if we now have a Henry Emily in the movie verse with a daughter named Charlotte that was also killed by Afton (though not nearly as calculated or crime of passion as it was from the games), what motivation did he have to go after Garrett?

2. Was matpat even in the movie? Cuz toy Bonnie just sounded like they reused the chica voice actress (though Kellen Goff was amazing, I liked hearing glamrock freddys voice again)

3. How tf does the puppet possession work? Cuz it’s like they merge into one entity, using the host body as a vessel for the puppet, but the puppets body is what we see on the outside, almost like the puppet encases the host body but just merges the faces or pushes the mask up from inside the face? And the powers like the flying are crazy since most other animatronics are pretty basic with no powers at all besides some minor telepathy and the barrier locking springtrap in the back room.

4. Where tf is garrets soul? Cuz I know with the come find me bit at the end of the first movie, that made us all think Garrett would be the puppet. So is he golden Freddy? And will he make an appearance in the 3rd movie to stop Charlie and William or will his fate be ever unknown?

5. Why is Micheal Afton evil? And why does charlotte not hate him like she hates Vanessa? My assumption was that Charlie hated Vanessa because of her connection to Afton but she not only allows Micheal to be the guard for her location but when he showed up in mikes house the controlled toy animatronics don’t even react to his presence. Like they know he’s a robot (which I’m pretty sure he is because of the line “WE’LL blend right in” not they’ll blend in.)

6. Why is Mike so flip floppy with Vanessa the whole movie? They start out going on a date and when he realizes that he seems happy, where he encourages her to go into her dreams to face William. Then the very next day acts like he doesn’t even want to be around her telling her to basically shut the fuck up about Freddy’s. Then he gets to the original location and frees her and they work together. Then at the end of the Movie after she does a whole found family thing rebuffing Micheal he literally tells her to kick rocks and never talk to him again. I understand that she wasn’t sorry open about Micheal but if I had a psycho brother I might keep that close to my chest until we were a couple. The fact that He was very insensitive to her mental struggle/programming (We’ll get to that) and trauma seems really fucked up.

7. Vanessa. Is she or is she not a robot? I ask because many people haven’t liked that idea since the whole “Gregory is a Robot” dilemma, but it’s a real question here. I have four main pieces of evidence for yes robot but want to get counterpoints. These points are: 1. Her eyes are a huge deal. Both in this movie and the fnaf 1 movie theatrical book release. In the book, Mike is constantly mentioning how her eyes change color depending on her rapidly changing mood, and they go dark, almost PURPLE when talking about afton. In the fnaf 2 movie, Jeremiah mentions in his every appearance that she has “crazy eyes”, which may be Scott bringing that detail in now to make sure it can be referenced later. (My only issue with this one is that it’s debatable whether that book was canon since Scott expressly stated that the way the lawyer was portrayed in that book was non canon, since he was so gross compared to his movie counterpart, so it’s unclear how much we can take from that.). 2. Her inability to disclose/take action about anything about her father or family until someone else brings it up, she doesn’t even seem to realize she’s doing it, with charlotte, what Charlotte became, the first location, her brother, she always says “I’m Sorry I didn’t tell you” almost like a prewritten response since she logically wouldn’t be hiding things from Mike at this point in their friendship. 3. Her physical strength. Not only does she survive being stabbed in the first game (because we know robots can eat breath and bleed thanks to silver eyes novels), takes a hit that clearly should’ve knocked her out when crashing the car in an attempt to throw off mangle, but she also is able to physically push mangles arms off her without crazy difficulty, which is wild since mangle dismembered a guy without much difficulty before. 4. Her dream sequence showing all 4 versions of her across time Ala the 4th closet. We see child Vanessa, young Officer Vanessa, current Vanessa, and Baby. For those unfamiliar with the books, in the silver eyes trilogy, Charlie Emily was built with 4 bodies, one for each stage of life, with her final body being that of Baby, able to transform between Funtime mode and human mode at will. It could be that we saw her final form in that dream with Baby. We also know William was working on human replicas since we see what looked like a human face on the workbench. I have more but none that need mentioning here cuz this is already too long. My only big drawback to this theory is that she was able to be possessed by the puppet, but it may be that the puppet latched onto her soul/remnant that powers her rather than her physical body

8. What are the baby puppets? They remind me of the plush babies only I hate them way more. And where did they go after their one murder?

9. Why can the puppet move by itself now? Originally it was clearly moved by strings and the big wheels but now it can move on its own and even fly?!

10. Why haven’t we heard about Mrs Afton yet? We only hear about William but we never hear about her. I’m wondering if the future films will touch on her with a ballora animatronic or let her be possessed BY Mrs Afton

11. How are the toys so stealthy? We heard them thumping along with very loud clunks, but then we see them seemingly vanish only to reappear elsewhere to scare people, like it’s REALLY inconsistent.

12. How did mangle get on Vanessa’s car? Cuz there’s no way mangle was fast enough to catch up, and there’s no way Vanessa got into the car without noticing a giant mechanical monster on top of her car

13. Why did Mike close the music box after driving off the puppet? There was literally no reason to close it besides making dialogue go easier.

Thank you for any and all responses this was mostly just me ranting about the movie. I really did like it, in fact I loved it, especially the puppet jumpscares! I just wanted to sit down and put my thoughts down and it went on longer than I thought it would.
