Do people not do research anymore?

A quick yap about something I have noticed and am trying to get enligtened on.

Am I the only one who has noticed in repeated questions / the same topic when talked about living/ touring NL?

Whether it be in real life or on social media I always see someone going "food here is expensive, weather is bad, rend is so high, rude people, etc etc. I cant wait to move" Valid reasons, yes, especially for natives craving and yearning something else, but if its coming from someone who moved here / is touring, then why come and be all oh my god this sucks where is the sun if everything can be looked up nowadays?
