Hard shell recommendations for the grocery store meat and freezer aisle

Hey all. I hope you guys can guide me a bit. Lately I’ve been concerned about my gear game and not sure my Patagonia Torrentshell is up to par with the frozen wasteland that is the grocery store, especially the freezer and frozen meat aisle. I prefer ultra light since I’m pushing a heavy cart, but willing to go heavy since I’m freezing cold every time I go. You guys think the Beta AR is enough for my needs or do I need to splash the cash on an Alpha SV? Pit zips a must.
