How to bring up the what are we conversation without making the guy i’m dating feel pressured to put a label on things?
Been dating this guy for about a month now. We hangout every 3-4 days and he always sleeps over at my apartment, though we haven’t slept slept together yet. I asked make things exclusive on the fourth date and he agreed. We have moved very fast (the first three times we hung out were in a row during halloweekend, i would invite him over after going out). He told me that in all his relationships he’s moved very slow and usually it takes him 3 or 4 months to make things official with the girl. If that was the timeline we were on I wouldn’t worry about it but because we are moving so fast i’m nervous he’s going to wait longer to ask me because that’s what he’s used to. He’s also kinda awkward so i’m scared he’s going to drag it out because he doesn’t know how to ask. I don’t want to ask him what we are and then make him feel pressured to put a label on it + i want HIM to ask me to be his girlfriend because he wants to ask not because i’m telling him to. My main worry is that he’ll feel things moved to fast or feel trapped and start to resent me.
