Need help with school selection

Profile Review

Hi all — I’m working on my applications with an MBA consultant and currently have 4 schools selected, but I need to finalize 3 more. Would love some input on whether my list is balanced and if I should be targeting additional safety schools.

Profile: • 29F, 7 years of experience as a tech consultant at Deloitte (mix of functional + technical + leadership roles) • Undergrad: 3.3 GPA in MIS from Penn State • GRE: 320 (retaking soon; expecting to improve) • Short-term goal: continue in consulting • Long-term goal: transition into product management

Schools I’m definitely applying to: 1. USC Marshall 2. UT McCombs 3. UW Foster 4. UCLA Anderson

Questions: • Should I add more safety schools to round out my list? If so, which programs would be good fits for my background + PM goals? • Is it realistic for me to apply to Berkeley Haas, or is it too much of a reach given my GPA/GRE? • With a 3.33 GPA, do I need to use the optional essay to explain it, or is it fine as-is paired with strong work experience?

Any feedback from people with similar profiles or insights into these programs would be super helpful!
