2 witnesses | unedited video (iPhone 13 Pro Max)| common explanations ruled out

On April 26, 2025 at ~9:01 PM (MST), my girlfriend and I witnessed and recorded a bright green orb-like object over Chandler, Arizona.

Posting after careful review to rule out the usual explanations discussed here.

⸻

📍 Location / Conditions
	•	Chandler, AZ (near E Buffalo St.)
	•	First seen toward the Superstition Mountains (~30 mi)
	•	Elevation: near horizon → ~75° overhead
	•	Camera facing: NE (approx.)
	•	Time zone: MST (AZ does not observe DST)
	•	Partial cloud cover, stable conditions
	•	No sound at any point
	•	2 adult witnesses

⸻

👁️ Observed behavior (key details)
	•	Self-luminous green object
	•	Smooth, controlled movement (not drifting)
	•	Sustained hover beneath cloud layer
	•	Abrupt direction changes (no visible turning radius)
	•	Instant acceleration from a complete stop
	•	Immediate halts after movement
	•	Appeared at times rotational / tethered
	•	Rapid departure toward the horizon

No blinking navigation lights. No strobe pattern. No audible propulsion.
	•	Total visible duration: ~45–60 seconds (approx.)

🎥 About the footage

Reviewed frame-by-frame before posting:
	•	Not a single pixel point
	•	Structured glow/halo around a brighter core
	•	Shape remains consistent during motion
	•	Movement does not track with camera angle
	•	No long-exposure smear or compression artifacts
	•	Original video is unedited (no filters, no color grading, no stabilization)

❌ Common explanations already considered

Open to mundane explanations, but these don’t fit this case:
	•	✈️ Aircraft — no FAA lighting, no steady trajectory
	•	🚁 Helicopter — no sound, no oscillatory motion
	•	🛸 Drone — no rotor noise, no LED pattern, abrupt stops
	•	🛰️ Satellite / ISS — hovering & lateral movement rule out
	•	🌠 Meteor / fireball — duration too long, motion controlled
	•	🔥 Flares — no descent, burnout, or fragmentation
	•	🎈 Chinese lantern — no flame flicker or wind drift
	•	🪂 LED skydivers / balloons — no descent or formation behavior
	•	⚡ Ball lightning — duration & maneuvering don’t align

⸻

🧠 Why I’m sharing

Not claiming extraterrestrial origin.

After ruling out the above, I don’t have a convincing conventional explanation. The combination of:
	•	Hover
	•	Sudden acceleration
	•	Sharp direction changes
	•	Silent operation
	•	Structured luminous appearance

…is what brought me here.

✅ Final note

Skeptical explanations are welcome — I just ask that they account for motion, duration, and silence together, not in isolation.

Thanks for taking a serious look.
