We were watching a mother grizzly and her cubs in Lamar Valley heading into sunset. There was hundreds of people gathered around and much like our Phoenix, AZ sighting (check my post history) I asked myself like I did before that if the phenomenon wanted to reveal itself to a crowd like it did previously that this would be an ideal time because everyone’s attention was focused on the mountain adjacent from us where the bears were. Nothing happened, so we decided to stick around after everyone left to star gaze. It was quiet for a while when we started noticing some flickering and winking off in the field. I wasn’t able to get any good videos, but on our way out of the park we turned the corner on Grande Loop Rd and saw a massive yellow orb hovering at a low altitude in the sky and was able to capture it on film. It remained hovering until we took a few more curves when we experienced some similar flashes of neon blue which illuminated the forest behind it but we couldn’t see what it was because the hillside was blocking the way. It did this a couple times as we would approach the curve ( blue/indigo flashes of light was similar to our first engagement in Santa Rosa, NM which is also on my post history). Our interpretation is that this wave of engagements on this road trip was meant to be much more intimate than our first as it waited until we were alone to pick up its activity during this wave.
