Thought's on episode seven

Rich's death speech made me tear up. I was really hoping him and Marge would end up getting a happily ever after but considering it's a horror TV series we knew what we were getting into after the events in the first episodse. The scene where Marge picked up his hand and put it back on the cot, collecting his things, even Marge crying was just such amazing performances from such a young cast. Writing is phenomenal too

I had a feeling when the ex-chief of police was saying to the towns folk at the bar last week that a woman called in an anonymous tip to the location of the child murderer at the black spot, knew it had to be lngrid. Just hard to believe she could manipulate and have the intelligence to set it all up with the intention of putting him in that situation to get pennywise to be at that exact place and time too. Her sleeping with him just to put her plan Into motion like that.

I also didn't understand the thinking she had that a being that could eat children and use her father's form to disguise himself somehow still be her father. When she hugged him I thought for sure he was going to eat her or at the very least consider he can't eat the one who is bringing him all his meals. But when showed her the deadlights then if she was probably going to die in 23 years anyway, he might as well have eaten her right then and there. Did he want to put 1 more in the fridge for the next time he woke up in 2e years floating down there?

Did Mike really think he could take on the entire U.S. army with a single gun to stop them from destroying the pillar?

One thing I didn't get is how removing one of the pillara and Pennywise sensing his cage being opened, would wake him from his 27 year slumber early to eat more.
