Govee 100' rgbic strip lights

Im planning on buying v channel and running it around the ceiling of my living room ( open for suggestions ) as far as im seeing the only actual long strands are the 100' which is 2 50' my first question is how they connect and if one controller can run all 100'. Will the connector fit in the channel How many led per foot i looked but may have missed it. And will I have an issue if I cut of like 30 feet i only need 70 feet (68.3333333332) all other packs im seeing are like 64 feet and dont know how a 4 foot missing section would look. Any help is appreciated i definitely think im over thinking it so i figured I'd reach out to more experienced people Cheers!
