is this a scam?
This is probably a stupid question, but better safe than sorry.
So first of all, my aunt sent me an MS Word file and requested my help to fill in her information for the loan application form. She doesn't really know how to operate a laptop/PC.
But once I saw the form, it was kinda sketchy for me tbh. I've had some experience working as a clerk in a lawyer's office. So I could see the paperwork was like day and night compared to the ones I've been seeing before. Correct me if I'm wrong about this since I'm still a young adult.
So I asked her the credentials of the bank she wants to apply for the loan. She said it wasn't a bank, but a "Koperasi". Called 'Petronesa'. The first thing that came to mind was Petronas obviously. But that wasn't the case.
I asked her where did she get the number from, and she replied saying it was from the numbers who messaged her. Literal unknown messages who straight up contacted her. That adds more to my suspicion. I looked it up on the internet and it is not convincing me. I'm quite busy with my stuff too. I told her already to wait up and don't do anything yet.
Oh also, the chat screenshots weren't from my aunt. It was forwarded by the sender apparently.
What do you guys think?
