My take on “cheating” in modern relationships

If someone tells you, “I’m not in love, nothing serious, don’t expect anything,” that’s a non-exclusive setup. No commitment = no betrayal. But the same people will freak out if you talk to someone else. That’s not loyalty — that’s control.

Modern relationships feel so transactional that people want freedom for themselves but loyalty from you. That’s the real problem.

Cheating only exists when both people clearly agree to be exclusive. Everything else is just double standards.
