Her stolen hours
She walks through the office like a storm disguised as discipline — perfect posture, tight jaw, clipped tone, a wedding ring that shines brighter than the warmth she gets from the man who put it there.
To everyone else she’s untouchable. Cold. Sharp. A woman carved from rules and expectations.
But the moment her office door locks behind us… every lie she built about herself starts to tremble.
Because I see her. The woman underneath the armor. The one who wants someone to take the weight out of her hands and pin it — and her — somewhere she doesn’t have to pretend she’s fine.
And she hates that it’s me.
Her intern. Her subordinate. Her forbidden escape.
But she still leans back against that mahogany desk the second I step close. She still parts her lips like she’s been waiting all day for breath she doesn’t have to control. She still melts the moment my fingers trail her waist, as if her whole body remembers me before her mind catches up.
She had rules. A ring. A reputation built on discipline.
But none of that matters when she feels my breath on her throat. None of it survives when I grip her hips and pull her closer like she’s the one thing in this world I was never meant to touch — and the only thing I ever will.
He touches her the way a man clocks in for work. Mechanical. Obligatory. As if her body is a checklist he’s tired of completing.
But me?
I want her with something feral. Like I’ve spent my whole life pacing the edge of a cage, waiting for someone soft enough to devour. Like every instinct in me was designed to tear down the walls she hides behind and claim the trembling truth underneath.
And she feels it.
Her breath breaks against my mouth. Her hands shake when she fists my shirt like she’s afraid I’ll disappear. Her voice collapses into something needy the moment I whisper her name — not the one on her office door, the one she keeps buried under her ribs.
For these stolen hours she gives me, she isn’t the stern supervisor, the woman with a husband who barely looks at her, the perfect professional everyone fears.
She’s mine.
Mine to pull apart. Mine to steady. Mine to ruin slowly, breath by breath, until she forgets every promise she’s ever made except the ones she’s panting into my neck.
She forgets the world. She forgets her restraint. She forgets herself.
Because she knows the truth she’ll never admit out loud:
When she closes that door… I own the version of her no one else has ever touched. The one who breaks for me. The one who begs without speaking. The one who comes undone in my hands like she was made for them.
And when I finally pull her against me, trembling, breathless, torn between guilt and desire, I whisper the line that destroys her every time:
“Tell me you don’t want this… and I’ll stop.”
She never does.
Not once.
Because here — in the quiet, forbidden dark of her office — she gets to be the woman he never sees…
And I get to be the man she can’t resist.
