Having a hard time with...

Hello I've been having a hard time with keeping my sbt pup interested in chaseing a flirtpole or really any game besides the one of chewing on me.. it's like he has no prey drive or want to play with the flirt pole for more than a short moment. Like I'm either frustrating him and he can't get it enough times to stay interested or I'm making it to easy for him. No matter what he justloses interest very fast. This sucks because I want to be able to work him out and this IMO is the best excercise there is... Should I tie him to something and not let him get the lure for a couple days? He seems to have no want to play besides chewing on me and I need to find another way to exercise home besides attacking my hands. Any help would be appreciated
