Charging Station Won't Release from Truck - Truly
So a week ago tomorrow I stopped at a dealership to use one of their charging stations to charge my truck and when I got done I could not get the charging station cable handle to release, i.e. the button on the handle to depress and disengage from the truck. Now I know what you're about to say - all the troubleshooting things I've already known well, done, etc including the emergency release etc etc etc. Trust me, I have had to troubleshoot and use the emergency release when the truck itself has not disengaged in the past so I know how to do this and I have done it in this instance... It's not the truck, and none of that worked. The dealership employees came out and tried, I called the phone number on the charging station and ran through their troubleshooting steps, they tried to send release commands to the charging station and rebooted it... Nothing. The button on the handle of the identical charging station next to it depresses just fine. This one does not. The employees even tried using tools to force it to depress to no avail. The employees regularly use these charging stations and have never had this issue. So far as I have found no one in fact has ever had this issue, which is why I'm posting here to see if anyone else has? I had to abandon my truck and so far the dealership and the company that services it have no idea what to do. The dealership had to loan me one of their used vehicles and they do not seem to have any sort of solution in sight. They don't even have a date where they can get a technician out to work on the charging station, and they aren't really sure how to which is an entirely different story of them trying to figure out who owns it... That's for another day. Just curious if anyone else has ever experienced this. Thank you!
