Help/feedback on my first WoW character's story?

LF Feedback

As Ive looked into the world and lore I was really taken in by WoW's dwarves (I usually am in every fantasy game to be fair) and their clans and history. I took a stab at writing a short backstory for a clan my character will be from, and I wanted feedback and to see if it fits lore or breaks any sort of etiquette. Apologies, its also decently long. Let me know what you think!

In a little-known village of Khaz Modan lives a clan that used to be known as Emberbrew, known locally for its production of strong, quality alcohol. They weren't famous by any means, but many travellers have been pointed towards a rather unremarkable tavern at the base of a mountain in the snowy foothills to experience good drink and even better company.

One day a cave in had trapped the miners of the mining camp atop the mountain overlooking the inn and surrounding village. At this time the younger members of the clan had gone off to experience the world, leaving only the elder Boric Emberbrew manning the tavern with his wife. At first nobody in the village knew anything was wrong, it wasn't uncommon for the workers to stay a few nights at the camp when they were needed. After a few days, just as people were beginning to grow concerned, Boric volunteered to investigate and bring some much needed supplies. Though he was older than most in the village, he emphatically insisted he be the one to go and that he could use the exercise of climbing the mountain. On the inside, though, he had reasoned that most of the families in the village had at least one parent working the mines, and if something bad were to happen, it'd be better for it to happen to him than the remaining parents or young people of the village that had not lived a life as full as he. He departed with a cart of supplies and several tasks of the clan's best ale.

When a weary and haggard Boric reached the mining camp, he was astounded by what he saw. The opening of the mine was entirely closed off by rocks, and he sprung swiftly into action. It had been many long years since Boric had done manual labor of this intensity, but he knew how to swing a pick. He arrived in the early evening, and worked until dawn to open the cave back up. He then spent hours dragging the injured and starving workers into the open air. His old lungs burned and his tired muscles ached, but he prayed with all his being to the Light for strength, more out of desperation than faith. There were too many to feed them all by hand, so he did the first thing he thought of. He lifted a heavy cask of ale and brought it to the lips of each of the workers, praying that it would do something to help, or at least to make their last moments a bit more comfortable. It was then that the miracle his clan came to be known for occurred. As the last sip was delivered Boric collapsed to the dirt and lost consciousness. When he awoke, he could scarcely believe his eyes: the men were still very clearly injured and would have to take it one day at a time, but they would live. The foreman must have caught his incredulous gaze, because he chuckled and clasped Boric on his aching shoulder. "If it weren't for you and that hallowed brew, we'd all have seen our last day".

As time passed the story of Boric Emberbrew and his hallowed brew spread through the surrounding villages. The workers and other villagers began to call Boric and his family "Clan Hallowbrew", and many came to sample the taverns offerings. Eventually the legend died down, but its effects were able to be seen if you looked for them. To this day clan Hallowbrew continues its quiet work of providing ale to travellers of all kinds, and though they hate to brag about it, you can always tell by the warm taste of the first sip and the small shrine to the light behind the bar.

Sorry again that was much longer than I thought it would be! But I hope it sounded okay and please let me know where you think it could be improved for rp in game!
