10 weeks and nervous for my ultrasound

Advice

Hi everyone! I’m 10 weeks with my first, super nervous for my second ultrasound on Tuesday and just seeking some support/reassurance. I’ve had some slightly alarming symptoms with my first pregnancy and am going through the necessary testing with my midwife. I know anything can happen and things change out of nowhere sometimes and my midwife can’t exactly tell me my baby’s okay right now, but I guess I’m just trying to see if anyone has any hopeful stories that may relate to my case. If anyone can relate to any of these symptoms/issues, please let me know how you’re doing/how things went (even if it didn’t end well). I’m taking all the advice and support I can get!!

  • Rising HCG
  • No previous pregnancies or MCs
  • Ultrasound at 6.5 weeks: heartbeat noted with 111bpm, implantation noted in lower uterine segment.
  • Thyroid levels (T3+4 normal; TSH at 6.5 weeks was 4.67, 9.5 weeks was 3.5)
  • Iron (levels were 15 at 6.5 weeks and 21 at 8.5 weeks)
  • Progesterone (9.8 at 8.5 weeks to 8.9 at 9.5 weeks; started progesterone suppositories day of at 9.5 weeks)
  • Spotting from 7 weeks up until now at 10 (mostly brown, few days red spotting, few days pink, a couple days almost nothing, nothing I would consider heavy/period-like bleeding)
  • Cramps have always been mild, not painful at all; more like movement and dull aches here and there.
  • Symptoms still present (on and off breast soreness, tiredness, moody, mild nausea — never got morning sickness, mild food aversions)
