Hi all! Hate to be here but still have to be here. I just got a mini adamas 273-03 with magnacut. I got it on ebay for $275. And I wonder is it authentic. I tried myself but not 100% percent sure. Generally it iss good and "match" the pictures on their website, but here are the concern:
1. Box say copyright 2022 while this knife released in 2023, the sticker (which I think looks good and say 9/20/23), is that normal?
2. The clip have scratches byt still got coated, is that just QC isssue or that is fake as hell? Lol
3. The main pivot screw have a chamfer while the picture on their website does not have it... (I have seen post here people got theirs with it and it iss real but I want to know exactly why? Anyone have an idea?) (picture 12)
4. The thumb stud inside have some weird residue? Is that normal?
5. The blade flat grind on the website I can see clearly but here I can barely see it, it got stone washed pretty well so I am not sure, just pointing out the difference when I compare with the pictures on their website. Same with the other side of the pivot (pic 5) their website show it has the "nipple" but here it looks great 🤣
6. Also, it came missing the instruction paper, still have the axis tag and it is thick carton, the foam inside looks good too. It also came with the scratch on pic 17.

Generally, I did not think it was fake when first handle it, solid, a bit stiff but not much blade play if any. The carbon looks great imo, the logo and font looks sharp and good imo but I am bias at this point, I hope it iss real lol. I found a write up comparing a fake vs real here: https://sharperapex.com/benchmade-mini-adamas-anatomy-of-a-counterfeit-knife/

Thats is why I have issue with the pivot screw and the copyright number lol.
Please share your thought! Thanks all! If you have any questions, ask away!
