Stephen "Blue Check" Miller
Has anyone else noticed that Stephen Miller has a blue check verified X account? Blue checks are for Premium+ subscribers, who also get to participate in creator revenue sharing. For comparison, Donald Trump, JD Vance, the other 3 deputy chiefs with twitter accounts, the ICE deputy director Madison Sheahan, CBP commissioner Roney Scott, etc. etc. are all grey check government accounts.
Blue check accounts are for Premium+ subscribers, who also have the ability to make money off of their content through the Creator Revenue Sharing program. Users who "work for a government institution, are an elected official, are a political party, or engaged in any election-related activity" are prohibited from monetizing their accounts. So presumably, Stephen Miller is not making money off of his account even though he has the blue check. But is that the case? Or is he in fact making tons of money off of all his incendiary content on X? Should Americans be notified if their government officials are enriching themselves off of their social media accounts?
