I think I'm slowly becoming “the person who overthinks every small interaction”

:error: Removed

Lately I’ve been noticing this weird habit where I replay the most random conversations in my head hours later, like I’m doing post‑game analysis on a chat that didn’t even matter. Someone will say “have a good day” and suddenly my brain decides to wonder if I sounded weird when I said “you too.” It’s not anxiety exactly, just this odd hyper-awareness that seems to pop up out of nowhere. I don’t think I used to be like this. I was way more casual about everyday interactions, but now I catch myself thinking back on stuff like I’m trying to solve a mystery that doesn’t exist. It’s funny and I guess slightly annoying at the same time, because 99% of the time I know nobody else is thinking about it at all. Does anyone else drift into this “overthink tiny moments” mode, or is this just what getting older feels like?
