Context: when i said the ram shortage (in the server) was due to AI, he started arguing with me saying it isnt, even pulling out the fact that it was just micron leaving the consumer market, but i said even that action is correlated to AI. And he (or his friend, the owner of the server) timed me out of the server so i had to continue it in dms here.

Background: this guy really gets on my nerves. He always argues just to argue and makes me or other people believe im in the wrong by twisting my words or (seemingly purposefully) misunderstanding it in the worst way and sometimes it even works until i get an outside opinion from outside of the gc.

And even when I know im wrong and admitting it he still argues as if its some sort of ego thing, and saying **I AM** the one arguing??? Like I just cant anymore. I have multiple other chat logs but this is the most recent and short one i have. He always sends disparaging memes (e.g. khaby lame mechanism, who asked, etc.) when I make a claim for those long arguments he instigates and it makes me feel unheard, but if I just quit he mocks me for saying it & the other people in the dc server just think I am the one instigating because they always ignore whenever there is something going on, and assume its the person "losing" the argument, so nothing i can do works it feels like.

So am I overreacting? Or am i actually the one in the wrong here?

AIO for getting mad at my "friend"?
