In hindsight, Johnny was pretty stupid.

Ray presented him with a good deal during the diamond thing. A 50/50 split of the profits. Instead of taking the agreed 50%, Johnny takes all of it. This ends up in Jim being killed and the clubhouse getting destroyed by Ray's men. Why did Johnny even hate Ray in the first place? Niko had more reason to dislike him than Johnny did.
