I guess I am investing in Lens Futures

I have been trying to get the Canon RF 100-400 from the refurb site for quite a while, but have not been online the 4 minutes it was available. I then tried putting in a 7 day offer at Greentoe, but after 6 days it had not been accepted. Since the offer expired on Sunday evening I didn't think it was going to happen, so I got one that is supposed to be mint on an eBay auction Saturday around noon. Of course Sunday around noon my Greentoe offer was accepted. My revised plan is to keep one of them till the spring and try to sell it then. I may be the only one on this sub hoping lens prices go up the next few months. :)
