i’m half glad vanilla didn’t win anything at the streamer awards 😭 the show is a JOKE

i love vanilla and some of the other people who were nominated and there but that event is a joke. every single clip i’ve seen just shows how much of a bigoted boys club it is. from a woman beater being nominated, cringey and unprofessional hosting and clips of men harassing lesbians, i don’t see it as a loss at all for vanilla to not have been recognised. i get why she went and i’m not saying people shouldn’t go or be happy to be nominated but i couldn’t be more appalled by the way that event is run and the people and behaviour that is welcomed in by it. i’m sure there were nice moments - like at least we got katie and vanilla moments and the iconic mother cam. but overall i wouldn’t be mad if she didn’t bother with that community or those awards anymore.
