a long, long thing about gorilla tag and its problems (body text)

sooo, ive been wanting to make this for awhile now but with everything going on, i think its the perfect time to do it. First of all, i dont dislike this game, i actually love this game i have met many good friends on it, but theres very obviously some flaws. (spoiler warning: theres alot.)

the game is not really that bad, but theres some problems and i think you can all agree with that. For starters, most updates are just cosmetic based. yep, even if the update is pretty small it comes with a full stack of overpriced cosmetics for people to buy. Now, this wouldnt be too much of a problem if they didnt overprice the hell out of them, like wdym to get some guitar you can barley play you have to play for 45 days to get it, or buy it with your own money. not only this, a little while ago they raised the prices of bundles. It went from: Hat, shirt, holdable to just a hat and shirt. luckily, this was very short lived and they put the holdables back. though, the price still stayed at 40 dollars. recently, they added some wind bundle. which shouldnt be too bad right? Well, you spend 40 dollars and you dont even get the full set! you have to use the 10k you got to buy the other item! that wouldnt sound bad but you would still have your 10k if AA wasnt greedy and just put the last item into the set. Its not just gtag though, in orion drift they added a skeleton bundle. The bundle was shown off with a certain pattern. Though, same as the gtag bundle, you had to buy the pattern to complete the set. Another thing, very obvious clout chasing for money. recently, they added the low taper fade, mewing face, the 67 kid and foreheads. forehead, not so much but the others are a pretty clear sign of them going from meme to meme trying to earn the slightest bit of money they can. like, its a game about gorillas playing tag. why do we need ninja low taper fade and 67 in it? Another thing to show the greed, youve all seen it, the new merch drop. like really, tell me how a gtag bedsheet or toothbrush relates to the game. Ive seen lemming say its about the bootlegs, when i think you could do something else about that than to sell your own takes on bootlegs. now, this next part is not really too bad, its pretty much just something i find really stupid. the finger painter and illustrator. First of all, they have just lost all meaning. it went from "Hey im a youtuber, im not an impersonator." to "Hey guys!!! im a youtuber!!! look at my badge!!! its not like other people have this too!!! go crazy and do what i say please!!!" like seriously. how do you let in fucking be prepared of all people. BE PREPARED. lemming, if you are reading this literally take one single look at their channel. they have the most clickbaity content i have seen in this game, and that says a lot when people like cubcub make videos on this. now, the illustrator seemed to actually solve this. anddd no it didnt! a few months later they give it to bubbles. now, for awhile ive thought this was weird but ive been kind of defending bubbles because hes just doing what he enjoys. buttt, i cant really defend the shit hes doing now?? like, look at his channel. his most recent stuff is a gorilla tag tung tung tung sahur brainrot video you have to PAY to watch. if he can get illustrator you might aswell give it to fuckin be prepared lmao. also this part wasnt me being pissy that im not getting it or whatever, i dont even have a channel its just something i find weird because why would you want fucking BUBBLES to represent your game? anyways, back to the actual game. Something that ive noticed, is they usually add in a new map or something, update it twice and never update it again. whats the point then? i get some things dont need updates but look at critters, it got boring so fast because the only new pets they added was for easter then they just never updated it again, like why? and with the gamemodes, why are only 4 gamemodes on. there are MANY many gamemodes people love that they really just cant play because aa is just too lazy to add in a button to go to other gamemodes. ive seen people say "its so people actually play the gamemodes!" but that really dosent matter? theyve already found a fix to this with the daily quests, people would play those gamemodes for the quests. not to mention the moderation like, really sucks. i know theyre trying, but ffs dude, half the time someones either modding, bullying someone or just saying slurs.

im being so serious, do better aa. it really sucks seeing this game come to this.
