Hello all, new player here

Hello everyone! I am a very new player to Hero Wars, after seeing the ad on youtube for years decided to finally give it a go and im enjoying it. I played Konosuba Fantastic Days til it shut down and JJK Phantom Parade, but have enjoyed this way more than JJK. I will most likely drop JJK here shortly and focus on this.

My question to everyone is if the below packs are actually a deal for new players or just super deceptive marketing. I know there are typically deals for newer players that veteran dont get access to. I wopuld consider myself a dolphin, plan on spending $15 - 20 a month to grind a bit faster, though I am fine with spending more the first month if I can take advantage of some deals. I still havent unlocked a lot of the content yet so I cant use the artifact essence, but it seems like from reading and researching this will be the biggest timegate in the future. Any advice/input would be appreciated!
