Specific venue & decoration vendor request (tropical themed)

Hi everyone,

My partner and I are planning a 2027 wedding in the summer and are hoping to get some advice from people who know Ontario venues well.

We’re looking for something pretty specific: We want a tropical / beachy / Hawaiian / island-style vibe, BUT we’re staying in Ontario, so obviously we need a venue that either already has this style or can be easily transformed with décor. Guest count 75-100

Here’s what we’re hoping for:

A big outdoor space where we can set up canopy tents for dining + dancing

Ideally private, peaceful, surrounded by nature/garden preferred.

Ability to bring in our own vendors, including decorating vendors)

Not necessarily in the GTA, anywhere in Ontario is fine

Bonus points if the venue already has lush gardens, water features, or a greenhouse (already know about Madison greenhouse)

We’re also looking for suggestions for vendors, like:

Decorators or wedding planners who specialize in (or are comfortable with) creating a tropical / island-style look

Affordable rental companies that provide bamboo/rattan furniture, string lights, lanterns, tropical florals, pineapple center pieces etc.

Any florists who can handle tropical greenery or faux tropical installs.

We’re open to ALL ideas and suggestions.

Also, if you’ve tried a themed wedding in Ontario (tropical or otherwise), I'd love tips on what worked, what didn’t!
