M19 should I reach out to my friends family M18

I M19 and my long distance Friend M18 have been close friends for 3 years we talk everyday day and do calls often I can’t think of a time we didn’t talk for a day. So recently (M18) has been busy with family and school and just 3 days ago he stopped texting me I wasn’t worried till the ending of the 1st day and now seeing tomorrow will be the 4th day should I reach out to his family? A while back he said I could reach out to his family like his mom or sisters if something were to happen. So I’m wondering if I’m overthinking and reacting or should I reach out to his family?
