How much are seasonal hires being paid?

I was told the role is between $15-$17. I got $16.50. I'm in the Southeast, maybe a MCOL area. I saw a post where someone said $18.50. A 2 dollar diff would really help. There's a lot of hints of being hired part time. Should I ask for a raise if it's offered?
