Well, unfortunately it happened.
I reached the weight that I swore I would never be again. I promised myself for years that I’d work as hard as I possibly could to stray away from that number on the scale. Just yesterday, though, I weighed myself for the first time in a couple months, and found myself exactly where I had started.
To say I’m completely disappointed in myself would be the understatement of the century. I had noticed that my pants have been fitting a little tighter, and I had just chalked it up to my dryer shrinking my clothes (😭) because I was afraid it would be the alternative.
I’ve only just started becoming comfortable with what I am eating, so this really sucks. I’ve also been going to the gym for the past few months, and I guess I was hoping that whatever I burn in the gym will allow me to eat normally again.
I don’t even know what I should do now. I promised myself that from today I will cut down on my sugar intake (a little tough for a T1D) so I stop craving things that aren’t filling. For reference, I’m 19F. If anyone has any advice or words of wisdom it would be much appreciated—I really need to find the motivation to start from scratch!
