Minecraft flashing on and off when I switch to fullscreen mode

Every time I switch to full screen mode in the menu on mc java my screen does this. It wont stop unless 1. I switch to windowed mode 2. 1 change the full screen resolution to 4k 60 instead of 4k 240/Current. As soon as i'm in game it works completely fine and i'm able to use full screen 4k 240. But every time I load up the game in full screen this happens. (only on the menu) Things I've tried: Uninstalled and reinstalled Mc multiple times Turned on and off V-sync Deleted the options.txt folder Setting my resolution on the installer Updated drivers Checking and unchecking read only on the options.txt file I really don't know what to do at this point. If any of you have had this exact thing happen or something similar and know a fix that would be great, i'm willing to try anything. Thanks.
