Now that Stranger Things S5 finally has a release date… can we talk about how insane this wait has been?
Okay, now that we finally have an official release date for Stranger Things Season 5, I feel like the entire fandom just collectively exhaled after holding our breath for years.
But seriously — is anyone else still shocked at how long the gap ended up being? This feels like the most delayed season in Netflix history, and the cast literally grew up faster than the plot.
Some things I keep thinking about (and I’d love to hear what everyone else thinks): • The kids don’t even look like kids anymore — how are they going to explain that in the story? • The production value must be insane if it took this long. Are we expecting movie-level episodes? • With this being the final season, does Netflix basically need it to break every record? • Do you think they rewrote big parts of the story during the downtime? • Is Season 5 the moment they finally reveal the full lore of the Upside Down? • Are we emotionally prepared for who’s probably going to die? (Because… someone is.)
The hype is already crazy, but I feel like the discussions are going to get wild as we get closer. After waiting this long, expectations are sky high — maybe too high?
What’s everyone’s biggest hope (or fear) for the final season now that the countdown is officially real?
