Remote start stopped working? 22 Passat

I recently noticed my remote start stopped working. So, it’s not fully remote start. It will start the car for up to 10min, but upon opening door to get in it shuts off. Good for warming the car or cooling off during summer, but other than that not really useful.

It recently stopped working, surprisingly around the 3 year mark of purchasing the car from the dealership. I don’t remember it being time limited, but maybe it was?

Google doesn’t bring anything up as it’s not a full remote start and I just can’t figure out if it was a time limited feature that came with the car or if it’s just not working.

My fob works fine, sometimes doesn’t register the key is in the car for Push to Start, but battery is probably nearing its lifeline. It registers that I pressed the lock button and then the x2 button for remote start, I can hear the click from the car as if it’s about to start, but it doesn’t do anything.
