Truancy Question

I go to a small private school that has a max limit of 20 absences a year, Excused or not, and when i reach that limit my principal will go to court and press truancy charges. I’m currently at 19 and 1/2 absences but have been throwing up with a fever. How much trouble could i potentially get in if he filled those charges? Almost all of my absences are covered by doctor’s notes or parent notes. (I’m a senior if that could effect anything)
